I am a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the Counseling Psychology program at UNL. My training has focused on therapy concerns related to mood and anxiety disorders, issues related to gender identity, as well as sexual and reproductive health and wellbeing. I find myself most energized working with college students. I am especially passionate about working with underserved and marginalized (e.g., first-generation, queer, students of color) students. I primarily apply cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches. However, I recognize that each client's concerns and goals are different. I also believe that identity and social factors can often be a major contributor to a client's distress. Therefore, my work is holistic at its core and is also informed by feminist, multicultural, and strength-based frameworks to best support my clients in whatever way they need me to. In my spare time, you can find me listening to Minecraft music on an endless loop, watching an unhealthy amount of anime and k-dramas, and deep cleaning something in my home that you never thought needed to be cleaned.
