I joined Counseling and Psychological Services in 2024 as a clinical psychology doctoral intern. I have experience working with culturally diverse individuals across the lifespan in various academic, forensic, medical, rehabilitative, and community behavioral health settings.
My clinical work is centered in the philosophy of humanistic psychology, which emphasizes the individual’s personal worth, the centrality of human values, and the creative, active nature of human beings. To help my clients meet their goals, I utilize a combination of evidenced-based psychological assessment measures and clinical interventions including, person-centered and solution-focused approaches as well as cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and motivational interviewing strategies.
As a mental health clinician and advocate, my goal for treatment is to work collaboratively with my clients to improve their quality of life and capacity for growth. Long-term recovery of any kind requires honesty, open-mindedness, and a willingness to change. Please allow me the opportunity to join you on your path of self-discovery and actualization; together we can broach and conquer some of life’s smallest to greatest challenges, one session at a time.
