Resources and Services for Student Veterans and Military Members

Counseling and Psychological Services staff are sensitive to the special concerns and challenges of our veterans, military and family members of military students. We recognize that transitioning to academic life after deployment or completing your service can be challenging. We are here to help provide you the support you need to easily transition to your life at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Examples of concerns we commonly help veteran and military students and their families with include:

Free Consultation for Veterans, Military Members and Their Families

Will return in fall 2018.

This is an opportunity for veterans, military members and/or military dependents to ask questions, discuss barriers, find resources and get support for the unique challenges faced in the military culture. This is a nonjudgmental, supportive environment. No appointment needed.
